Another Cosplay of the Week is upon us, and this time around I’ve got something a little bit different to show you all. This weeks feature is of a Cosplay by the creative Chochomaru (AKA Mary Mann) of Deviant Art, and is her interpretation of the all powerful Majora!

Instead of just going with a plain outfit and having Majora’s Mask as the feature, she’s gone above and beyond with this costume and created her own concept. This Cosplay was inspired by the Twili race introduced in Twilight Princess to help Chochomaru create the look for Majora as a goddess. Everything was made by her and her only: the mask, outfit, wig and the design – this lady is one talented Cosplayer.

A Quote from one of her Deviant Art Posts explains how she came up with the full design:

“There is a ton places of inspiration I used for the costume. I took elements from Majora’s wrath (I have whips, they’re just not pictured here), and many cues from Midna. I tried to strategically place colors in certain spots to imitate the look of the mask as well. The skirt is painted in a tapestry style to tell a story. It includes four masks of four people Majora hurt, Keaton, Goron, Deku, Zora. The large center piece is a bit more obvious with the moon crashing on clock town. All of this was hand painted by me from just visual reference.”

I’ve included a few images of this amazing creation in the mini gallery below, and you can also check out all of Chochomaru’s Cosplay creations by visiting her Deviant Art page. There are a few Zelda Cosplays, plus many other game characters a lot of you may know and love.

I fell in love with this Cosplay purely from the design and effort put into the creation of this character, but the fact that Chochomaru created this Cosplay from different aspects of the Zelda series makes it all the more fascinating.

What do you guys think of this weeks Cosplay feature? Are you as impressed by it as I am? Leave your comments below, and also don’t forget to tag #ZIcostume on twitter for your chance to be re-tweeted or featured by us!
