Everyone loves a good mystery, and The Legend of Zelda certainly has more than enough of these! For example, do you believe that Kakariko Village and Windfall Island could be one and the same place? If you have always been intrigued by Kakariko village with its connections to the Sheikah, then you should watch this video by Zelda theorist Zeltik.

Zeltik looks first at comparing the themes of Kakariko Village and Windfall Island. He identifies landmarks that demonstrate familiarity between the two towns and agrees that Windfall is inspired by Kakariko. The video then moves on to question whether they are indeed the same place.

I like how Zeltik keeps a balanced view throughout the video. He acknowledges that there are counter theories and goes out of his way to highlight them. Drawing from the game lore and information from books such as Hyrule Historia, he tries to make connections and find evidence to back up his ideas. There is also a section that takes a look at the interior of the windmill and the bomb shop to see how they match up.

Zeltik has put a lot of thought into the theory, and it is easy enough to follow. I like the effort put into the editing, and the sound itself is of a good quality. There are times however when trying to shoe horn the position of Kakariko Village and Windfall Island is a bit of a stretch on the map. If you have ever considered watching a theory video based on The Wind Waker or Ocarina of Time, this would ease you in nicely.

So, do you agree or disagree with Zeltik?  Have the developers incorporated similar details to draw out a sense of nostalgia, or is there more to it? Feel free to share your thoughts below.
