All computer hardware, no matter how old it is, still has some sort of use for it. Whether its something as simple as using the hardware as a paperweight or a nostalgic look back. Take for instance this video we have today as computer parts get used as musical instruments for a Zelda cover.

Paweł Zadrożniak runs a series on their YouTube channel called The Floppotron. In it, Pawel does covers of popular music through the use of a whole bunch of floppy disk drives as well as other pieces of computer hardware. For the cover we’re looking at today he tackles the main theme from The Legend of Zelda.

If it wasn’t obvious from the “musical instruments” they’re using, this cover sounds as good as it is going to get. Other popular music they’ve covered includes stuff from Pokémon, AC/DC, Super Mario Bros., and even classic Christmas tunes. This is definitely one of the more interesting ways that I’ve seen computer parts being used.
