Chill Out To This Synthwave Remix of Hateno Village

The theme of Hateno Village has always been my favorite from Breath of the Wild. It feels comforting–like entering your home after a long day of work. It is also my preferred location to visit aside from Kakariko Village because of its coziness and tranquility. Who knew that a location from a video game could make me feel so serene? Hateno Village perfectly captures those emotions. 

So it comes as no surprise that Hateno Village has its own synthwave remix thanks to Ryanimal. Their astounding skills have taken this theme from sweet and cozy to nostalgic and upbeat. It still captures the feeling of Hateno, but now with the flair of 80s pop; I can imagine this theme being used as an opening song if Breath of the Wild was an old school cartoon. Personally, I’m obsessed with this tune, as with most Zelda synthwave remixes.
