No matter how many times we’ve heard it in the past three decades, the Zelda series’ main theme always instills us with confidence. The score wonderfully embodies what it means to go on an epic quest to save a fantastical land. So, it should come as no surprise that it is one of the more popular pieces of music in gaming history that gets covered by fans.
That trend pushes forward at full speed with this rock cover of the Zelda main theme from Eduardo Hermida (AKA InjaSound). Using a combination of vocals, guitar, and electronic piano, he manages to make us feel like we’re on that adventure once more. If you like what you hear, be sure to check out Hermida’s other work, including covers inspired by Naruto, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, and even Los Caballeros del Zodiaco.
What do you think of this cover? Will you be checking out any more of Eduardo Hermida’s work? Will you be keeping an eye on what he does next? Let us know in the comments below!
