The music of The Legend of Zelda has been inspiring artists for years, and it’s easy to understand why. The music spans a wide range of styles and emotions, and everyone can find something that suits their tastes.

This writer was personally thrilled to hear about the newest creation on the fan-music scene: a synth-styled album called Ocarina Wave, covering the music of Ocarina of Time! Synth and 80’s revival are among some of the most difficult genres of music to compose for, but Ryanimal has created an album that perfectly captures the feeling of the greats of the 80’s, all while covering some of our favorite songs from the Legend of Zelda series!

The album’s version of “Zelda’s Lullaby” has the melancholy and hopeful feeling of an 80’s ballad, while “Song of Storms” has an ethereal and other-worldly feeling that one could get lost in for hours.

Ryanimal has many more synth covers of video game songs, so check them out on YouTube and Spotify!
