Once you enter the hallowed halls of Hyrule Castle, you soon realize Link’s journey in A Link to the Past is more perilous than it originally appeared. Nothing defines that statement more than the music that plays when you enter for the first time. This metal cover of the Hyrule Castle theme from Simon Loveridge adds a bit more oomph to this powerful moment.

If you like what you hear, Loveridge has also tackled tunes from Ocarina of Time, Link’s Awakening, Majora’s Mask, The Wind Waker, and Breath of the Wild. They’ve produced covers of songs from games such as Metroid, Sonic the Hedgehog, Castlevania, F-Zero, Super Mario Bros., Pokémon, and much more.

Loveridge even has an annual 24-hour gaming charity stream to help raise money for good causes. This year’s charity stream is just around the corner too, as on Saturday, March 14th, he’ll be raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society. If you want to donate, you can check out the official event page here.
