Breath of the Wild introduced a bunch of really unique and fun weapons for Link to wield during his adventure. These ranged from heavy two-handed behemoths like the Stone Smasher and Boulder Breaker, to elegant and flashy weapons like the Moonlight Scimitar or Eightfold Blade. One of the most interesting wrinkles to Link’s arsenal though came in the form of the elemental weapons. These would be the Flameblade, Frostblade, and Thunderblade.

YouTuber The Blacksmithing Gamer recently showed off some 3D-printing skills by creating a replica of the aforementioned Thunderblade. In his video, he shows step-by-step how he printed, assembled, and painted this cool piece for his home gaming station. Coming in a little under scale for the purposes of displaying it, he provides would-be creators the files necessary to print their own replica.

Personally, I think this is a really neat project and perfect for creating a piece for display or cosplay. I thought the elemental weapons in Breath of the Wild were awesome, and the Thunderblade family was especially useful for disarming and stunning tougher enemies. I really hope these weapons make a comeback in the eventual sequel!
