With the release of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, fans were treated to a version of Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule, set 100 years before the Great Calamity. While the main story of the game played out a little different than what many fans expected, it was still met with a wealth of praise and positive takeaways for a spin-off game.

One of the biggest points of speculation on how the story would play out was focused on the ending of the game. In Breath of the Wild, the Champions all famously fell during Calamity Ganon’s rise, and so it was expected that the player would get a chance to experience this ending during this particular installment. However, YouTube creator Barry Kramer has given us his own animated take on the Age of Calamity ending, and to say it plays out a bit differently would be a slight understatement.

This brief snippet manages to cover almost all the major talking points of Zelda fans since Age of Calamity’s reveal. From timeline splits, to pre-order bonuses, and even Tingle! Okay, so maybe some of these were less than hot topics before Age of Calamity, but they’re certainly a lot of fun. I personally love the Ganon’s Gumbo bit and how that’s somehow the secret to stopping the great Scourge of Hyrule.

What did you think of the Kramer’s alternate ending video? Are you up for some Tingle cooking games? Let us know in the comments below or chat about it over in our Discord!
