Check Out This 16-Bit Rendition of the Zelda II Temple Theme
Posted on July 22 2018 by Sean Gadus
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is one of the most underrated titles in the Legend of Zelda series. Because of this, the music from the game has flown under the radar as compared to the more famous games in the series.
This arrangement of the Temple Theme (a song also heard in Super Smash Bros. Melee) by Loeder recreates the classic theme with musical sounds and style of A Link to the Past. The change from the original 8-bit to a 16-bit style gives the song a completely different sound. The advantage of this 16-bit rendition is that there are additional and enhanced sounds that the NES original could not produce. This arrangement feels both brand new and retro at the same time, a rare feat.
What do you think of this exciting arrangement? Let us know in comments below!
