Check Out Some Exclusive Gameplay Footage of Link’s Awakening from Video Games Chronicle!

We’re only weeks away from the release of Link’s Awakening for the Nintendo Switch. A lot of the game has been getting showcased recently, and we’ve come across even more footage of it! This video is an exclusive 10 minute gameplay demo via Video Games Chronicle, showcasing various segments of the early game.
The video begins with footage in Ukuku Prairie of Link progressing through the Trading Sequence, a segment of the remake of whuich we have not seen much. Our hero trades the Stick to Tarin to obtain the Honey Comb in a silly scene! However, the majority of the footage is focused on the third dungeon of the game: Key Cavern.
The footage shows us that Pieces of Power and Guardian Acorns are making a comeback, we get to see the Pegasus Boots in action, and a brief part of the video also gives us a look at the side-scrolling section of the dungeon. To cap things off, we get our first look at the boss battle with Slime Eye and of Link getting the Sea Lily’s Bell.
I have only one nitpick after watching this video: the animation for dashing with the Pegasus Boots looks weird to me for some reason. Regardless, the footage looks great, and I can’t wait to get my hands on this Link’s Awakening remake!
