The SNES Classic Edition is one of the hottest items in gaming right now. This special edition console, hosting an impressive collection of Super Nintendo classics, has been flying off store shelves and frustrating online customers all week; but despite the overwhelming demand, we were lucky enough to snag our own. Join ZI staff member Zion as he explores every bit of the SNES Classic Edition for the first time.
The SNES Classic Edition comes with 20 of the greatest games of the Super Nintendo generation, as well as the previously unreleased Star Fox 2. With amazing titles like Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, and Earthbound, this console is a true powerhouse of 90′ gaming quality. And of course the Zelda series is represented, as A Link to the Past is one of the marquee titles on the game’s box.
Zion takes us on a tour of the SNES Classic Edition, showing off the machine itself, the controllers, and all the goodies hidden inside. You might be surprised by how tiny this thing is.
