Cave of Trials: Week Seven – The Hero’s Shade Vs Prince Sidon

Welcome to the Cave of Trials. The premise is simple: Every week, two characters from The Legend of Zelda series will duke it out for the Zelda Informer Championship. Whoever has more votes at the end of the week, wins. This is strictly a popularity contest, not who you think would win in a fight; so vote for who you like better! The winner will then go on next week to defend the title against a new challenger, as decided by you guys! That’s right, leave a name in the comments of who you want to see step up next and the character with the most votes will get their chance to dethrone the champion next week! Be warned though – a character only has one shot, so choose wisely. If a champion is successful in defending their title for six weeks in a row, that champion will be retired and the title declared vacant!

Cave of Trials champion Hero’s Shade continues his reign of terror, having defeated Demon King Demise quite handedly last week. Interestingly, this long-passed hero has been building heat among the fans, as he’s been called out as just another Link in centuries-old clothes.

But however you feel about our current champion, you cannot deny that today’s bout will be extremely interesting to see unfold. Sidon prince of the Zora — breakout star of Breath of the Wild, fish boyfriend to many, the people’s champ — has stepped into the fray. And we know he’s the best on the sea and on land.

Will Prince Sidon claim his rightful place on the Cave of Trials throne? Will the Hero’s Shade retain once again? Only YOU can decide! And don’t forget to vote on next week’s challenger!
