Late last month, video game equipment manufacturer ASTRO Gaming revealed a brand new gaming headset inspired by Breath of the Wild, as part of the company’s new partnership with Nintendo. This special edition Nintendo Switch A10 Headset got us really excited with designs and iconography drawn from the latest Zelda title, as well as the quality we’ve come to expect from ASTRO. We recently got a closer look at ASTRO’s new line of products at E3 2018, including a hands-on…

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate proves to have a lot of references to The Legend of Zelda. And more specifically, Ultimate has a lot of references to Breath of the Wild. Beyond Link’s re-design and brand new gear, one of the references we’ve so far seen to Breath of the Wild is the Great Plateau Tower stage. The stage is full of loving nods to the latest Zelda title — King Rhoam can be seen gliding in the background, for example — and it also has great background music. For those who…

Nintendo’s main focus this E3 has been on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The game developers have revealed a lot of information on the game, and this is everything we know so far: Link, sporting his Champions Tunic from Breath of the Wild, is not only making an appearance, but he also is part of the initial roster. His bombs detonate remotely, he shoots a beam from his sword when he’s at full health, and he has a new Final Smash. Princess…

If you watched the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate feature during Nintendo’s E3 2018 Direct conference, then you might have caught a few familiar places for battle!  During the reveal, we learned that not one, not two, but three stages from The Legend of Zelda series are going to be playable. These include the Great Plateau Tower from Breath of the Wild, Great Bay from Majora’s Mask (returning from Super Smash Bros.: Melee), and the Spirit Train of Spirit Tracks!  The Spirit Train stage is even being added…

Final Smashes have been a mainstay since Super Smash Bros.: Brawl, and Link is now sporting a brand new one for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Armed with the Ancient Bow and Ancient Arrows from Breath of the Wild, Link will have no trouble pinning his foes down in style. This version of Link comes with an updated character model as well, wearing his Champion’s Outfit from the same game. It has also been already confirmed that Link’s alternate costume for…

Nintendo’s E3 2018 Direct presentation was packed with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate news. One such piece of news is that Midna will be making a return appearance in the game as an Assist Trophy. We can see this as a confirmation that she will not appear as a playable character (for now), but it’s nice to see that she will still be represented as a help to the massive roster. Stay tuned to Zelda Dungeon for more news from this year’s E3! Source:…

Smash Bros. mainstay Kirby will have a new form added to the pool for his Down + Special: Stone Ability. Ultimate news, be sure to check us out in the coming hours and days! Source: E3 2018 Nintendo Direct

Super Smash Bros. staple, and Zelda franchise villain Ganondorf will be returning to his original 3D roots in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, sporting his look from Ocarina of Time. The last time he’s taken this look for a Smash Bros. game was for  the second entry in the series, Super Smash Bros.: Melee. To coincide with this change, he will no longer turn into Beast Ganon from Twilight Princess for his Final Smash, but instead, transform into Ocarina of Time Ganon….

Fans have been wondering if Link will trade in his usual battle technique for something a bit more elaborate, and Nintendo did not disappoint! Link…
