The Nvidia Shield launched in China earlier this week, offering many of the same streaming capabilities that western consumers have seen from the device already. In an unexpected turn however, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and a group of other Wii titles are now available exclusively on the Chinese version of Nvidia’s set-top box, in 1080p HD. As part of a local partnership between Nintendo, Nvidia, and Chinese video company iQiyi, HD ports of Twilight Princess, New Super Mario…

Development of Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora’s Mask 3D, and Tri Force Heroes was overseen by Japanese developer Grezzo, the same team behind the 3DS RPG Ever Oasis. It would seem that the developer is recruiting staff for a brand new project, recently placing an “emergency recruitment” notice on their website. Perhaps most interesting about this notice is that the banner, when translated, reads, “Would you like to make a legend together 2.” While information is sparse, this phrase has led some…

Look out Link – Super Mario is returned today and poised to challenge for the Game of the Year title that seemed to be safely locked around The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s waist. Reviews for Super Mario Odyssey have been pouring in today, and they’re not unlike the type of reviews that Breath of the Wild garnered upon its release – namely that it’s a breath of fresh air into the series and a modern masterpiece. Rarely…

The 3DS XL is one of the latest gaming consoles in Nintendo’s DS family, following the success of the DS, DSi, and 3DS. Previously thought to be exclusive to Europe, we’ve learned that this new 3DS console is now available for pre-order in the United States. You can pre-order your SNES-themed 3DS XL here for $199.99. But what do you…

Yesterday’s Nintendo Switch Firmware update added a few new features, such as Video Capture, USB Headset Support, a Joy-Con Controller firmware update, and the ability to transfer data. However, that’s not all Nintendo has added. In Japan, Nintendo has added the option for eShop pre-loads, which was first implemented with the Wii U and 3DS. This option allows users to purchase a game ahead of time and download most of the necessary data, only to download the rest in a…

Nintendo has recently released a software update not for the Switch itself but rather for the Joy-Con controllers. To update your Joy-Cons, visit System Settings and then head to the “Controllers and Sensors” tab. Then, click on “Update Controllers” and the Joy-Cons will be updated in just a few seconds! While it is currently unknown what the update adds, there is no doubt that Nintendo will reveal that information in the future. Source: Nintendo Everthing
