Hey there, Zelda fans! I hope you’re ready for another exciting edition of Zelda Dungeon’s Caption Contest! As we all continue to ride the Echoes of Wisdom hype train for another month, the contest has plenty of screenshots from that game to highlight over the next the few weeks. Nintendo was kind enough to share a bunch recently, after all! So, to get the Echoes party started, let’s do something a little different and try out an image that really suits you photoshoppers out there.

Our Last Contest:

We gave Yunobo his due last time around.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • IceRod: My face when I realize that the drive thru worker didn’t put ketchup in my bag after wasting time explicitly asking me if I wanted some during the order (totally hypothetical of course, not based on real events that have occurred several times at all…).
  • Mike Midwood: When you collect three sacred stones to open the door of time and the Gerudo King just sneaks in behind you
  • BeefLink: I’ll take my drink
    ON THE ROCKS
  • Sage of Fire: What I look like when someone tells me Yunobo is a bad character and I have to explain to them in detail why he is my favorite character in the entire Zelda franchise
  • Happy Mask Employee: The average Zelda fan preparing to face Thunderbird.

This Week’s Contest:

Zelda Dungeon Art Director Heather Beard had the great idea to create this Echoes of Wisdom template a few weeks back.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
