Caption Contest 384: I Saw The Sign, And It Opened Up My Eyes
Posted on July 17 2023 by Rod Lloyd
Hey there, Zelda fans! I figured it’d be a good idea to get a Caption Contest posted before I head out to the 2023 Zelda Dungeon Marathon. And this week’s contest is a special one, in fact; it’s the first I’ve posted since finishing Tears of the Kingdom! After over 180 hours of adventuring, I’ve finished the main quest and completed quite a few side quests as well. One particular side quest I went out of my way to complete involved everyone’s favorite Hudson Construction employee, Addison. I helped this man stabilize every one of his signs, so he owed me an appearance in this week’s contest.
Last Week’s Contest:
No Koroks were harmed in the making of last week’s contest.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- IceRod: This Korok still packs more efficiently than I do for a three day weekend trip.
- Kim: Korok: I need to reach my friend!
Link: Oh, I can help you reach your friend. Just step into this cart and hold on. You won’t feel a thing… - Kestron: That Korok could take the backpack off so easily if he wanted to. Relax his arms slightly and he’ll be out.
- EchoEvs: Korok: Hehehehe you just stepped in dog poop, lol!
Link: I hope you know that I have the ability to throw you off cliff right now.
Korok:….
Korok: Ok, but can you help me reach my friend?
*Link throws korok off cliff*
This Week’s Contest:
This man’s dedication is inspiring.
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
