What is up, Zelda peeps?! Would you like to stave off a little of that Tears of the Kingdom hunger with another exciting Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest? Before Eiji Aonuma’s surprise gameplay showcase a few weeks back, I was worried that all my Tears of the Kingdom screenshots would only feature the various forces of evil Link will be facing in the game. I’m always cool to feature monsters and menaces in the contest, but I was hoping to keep things varied as we move ever closer to the game’s release. Luckily, that gameplay showcase was just what the doctor ordered! Now, between all the danger-focused images — like this week’s image — we’ll have a few more lighthearted topics too.

Last Week’s Contest:

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Tober: Whoops my Tesla is running low
  • Kestron: When Link could no longer find any Octo Balloons, he was forced to get creative.
  • Snorlax: “Now this is podracing!”
  • Coop: “You are, without a doubt, the worst pirate I’ve ever heard of.”
Link: “But you have heard of me.”
-Quote from Pirates of the Caribbean with Jack Sparrow-
  • New Zelda Lover: “Hey! Ya see this King of red lions.”

This Week’s Contest:

Is this a new Yiga Clan hideout or what?

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
