Avast, ye Zelda fans! What say ye to another excitin’ ZD Caption Contest?! Just when I thought my Tears of the Kingdom image folder was getting a little low, Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma hosted a surprise gameplay showcase last Tuesday. Now, with all the new gameplay features fully demonstrated, my image folder has never been bigger! So, as we begin working through the new backlog, let’s take a look at  one of Link’s new abilities: the Ultrahand.

Our Last Contest:

Link ran from a Hinox last time around.

Here are our photoshop caption winners:

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Ian Comtois (The Unplanner): PoV: You stole from the shop again
  • Ocarina of space: They have spikes now!
  • Kim: Just on my morning jog…what’s that music? Why is the ground shaking?
    Looks back.
    Oh for crying out loud…
  • LinkwithanH: “Kids, let me tell you how I *really* met your mother…”
  • Twilight King: Indiana Jones and the temple of Hinoxes.

This Week’s Contest:

Fun fact: The Ultrahand is named after Nintendo’s hit toy from 1966.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
