Hullo, all you Zelda fans! Fancy another go at the Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest? With the game now less than six months away, we’ve been highlighting Tears of the Kingdom images for the past few contests. But wouldn’t you know it: I’ve basically depleted my TotK stash! That’s what happens when Nintendo continues to drip-feed us news. In any case, hopefully we’ll have some more Tears screenshots in the coming months… after next week’s Game Awards perchance?

Our Last Contest:

We featured some artwork for a change in our last contest.

Here are our photoshop caption winners:

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Dan: Aww man…. I dropped my keys…
  • Porter Frost: Link prepares to dive 500 feet down, land in a haybale, and emerge unscathed
  • Christian Puddington: “Well, there goes the neighborhood.”
  • Kestron: This won’t be flying, but I like to think I’ll be falling with style.
  • IceRod: “Can’t I just for once save Hyrule without jumping from great heights?”

This Week’s Contest:

I can’t help but think of the Smoke Monster from LOST looking at this image.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
