Caption Contest 332: “These kids and their technology.”
Posted on March 21 2022 by Rod Lloyd
What is happening, ZD fans? Are you ready to take part in another exhilarating Caption Contest? I was perusing my contest image folder this morning, and I stumbled upon this screenshot from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Something about the Old Man’s resentful expression as he watches Link use the Sheikah Slate has me speculating on what could possibly be going on in his head at this moment. I’m sure I’m not alone, so let’s speculate together with some captions!
Last Week’s Contest:
Link tried to act excited about an unwanted gift last week.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- IceRod: “The Deku Tree just died. And this is made of wood…”
- Hero Of Time: “Oh…Thanks. Its..exactly..what..I..wanted.”
- Wild Tray: “Could you theoretically fill it with milk?”
- Murph: “I thought I got rid of this!”
- Revali_is_best: Saria: Staring at it won’t make it work…
This Week’s Contest:
That Old Man definitely disagrees with some aspect of Link’s person. What do you think it is?
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
