Caption Contest 321: “I thought it was winter.”

It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! The Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest is back for another round of silly fun! It’s now the second week of December, and many of us are finally starting to feel the frigid air of the winter months. Temperatures are even dropping down here in sunny Southern California. But, let me tell ya’: it’s still been one of the hottest end-of-the-year periods I’ve ever experienced. Up until just a few weeks ago, the temperature outside was still hitting 90° F regularly. So, in honor of this particularly warm winter, here’s Link with a sunburn.

This Week’s Contest:

A bunch of folks just recently discovered Breath of the Wild‘s sunburn mechanics, and then modders got involved.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!
