How’s it going, Zelda fans! I hope you’re all having a great holiday season, and I hope you’re ready for another exciting edition of Zelda Dungeon’s Caption Contest. A few days ago, I published a Daily Debate asking readers which Age of Calamity characters they chose to avoid throughout their playthrough. During that discussion, I was admittedly pretty mean to my boy Hestu for not being the type of character I wanted to play. But now I want make it up to the lovable Korok with this week’s contest.

Last Week’s Contest:

We indulged our Final Fantasy VII nostalgia one last time.

By: lemnlime

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Jason: “You have called me Sephigoth for the last time”
  • Dylan: “My Hair is too perfect for you all!”
  • Undercover Nerd: “Say ‘Cloud from Kingdom Hearts finally got his own game’ one more time, I DARE YOU”!!!!
  • Julie Mae Javier: No one:
Sheik: *surfs onto Sephiroth using his own powers*
  • IceRod: “The man dressed as a woman vs. the woman dressed as a man. Fight!”

This Week’s Contest:

How can I stay mad at you, Hestu? You just want to put smiles on people’s faces.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
