Caption Contest 253: “Do you want to have a staring contest?”
Posted on May 11 2020 by Rod Lloyd
Hey there, everyone! Are you ready to jump into another exciting edition of the Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest? I don’t know about your part of the world, but the temperature outside my house has gradually started to rise over the past few weeks. It’s reached the point that I can’t help but fantasize about jumping straight into a pool or taking a trip to the beach. I unfortunately can’t do either of those things any time soon, but I can at least indulge in a watery excursion with today’s contest image.
Last Week’s Contest:
We celebrated the fourth of May in style with this Zelda / Star Wars crossover.
By: Lone Wolf
Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- Bobby: “My other car is the Master Cycle Zero”
- TheArtAnt: “Breath of the wild? More like born to be wild”
- HylianHero33: King Rhoam: “As your king, I forbid you to have anything to do with these machines from this moment on.”
Zelda: “aS YoUr KiNg I fOrBiD yOu tO hAvE aNyThiNg tO dO wiTh tHeSe MaChiNeS fRom tHis mOmEnT oN!” - IceRod: “Leia isn’t the only princess who gets to have a cool transport!”
- Tober: “Look Zelda’s Devine beast”
This Week’s Contest:
Do giant eels eat Zoras?
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
