Hey there, Zelda fans! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend, and I hope you’re excited for this week’s festive Caption Contest. Last week, the official Smash Bros. Twitter account shared a collection of Christmas-themed Ultimate screenshots, one of which featuring a group of “elves” helping get gifts ready for Santa at the North Pole. Of course, we all know these little workers are actually just a few young Hylians looking to spread cheer around the world.

Last Week’s Contest:

Last week, Link waited patiently in the snow for Santa to arrive.

By: Multificionado

And here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • IceRod: “Shorts in freezing weather. Hyrule or Texas?”
  • Dylan: Link: they told me this was going to be a s-s-switchmas s-surprise!
  • Danilo Carvalho: “Happy switchmas!”
  • Shane Kelley: “That holiday moo moo milk went straight through me, why don’t they have the outhouse closer?”
  • HylianHero33: “5 y/o me waiting outside for Santy Claus”

This Week’s Contest:

Does Father Christmas know that he has such legendary heroes in his employ?

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
