Caption Contest 210: High Five!

Hey there, everyone! I may have missed it last week, but that won’t stop me from getting a Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest out this week. Over the weekend, we covered an awesome art series by Blizzard Entertainment concept artist Oscar Vega portraying Super Smash Bros. Ultimate characters as fashionable couples. The whole project got me excited about the possibilities that Smash Bros. opens up, such as Princess Zelda high-fiving Rosalina.

Our Last Contest:

The Kikwi from Skyward Sword migrated to the Lost Woods for our last contest.

And here’s our non-photo caption winners:

  • Mark: Kowalski, casualty report.
Only 2 passengers unaccounted for skipper.
    That’s a number I can live with.
  • Moonfall777: “You young Kikwi scouts have done a great job making this little campsite, but there’s one little problem:
You forgot to bring the improved graphical textures!”
  • Emac: “The faron woods have grown to the form they should be before the timeline split.
    Wait…
Shouldn’t we have evolved by now?”
  • Art1st4786: “Looks like the Kikwi are about to drop a sick album.”
  • Linklink: Kikwi: “they told us if we wanted more screen time we should come over to this game”.

This Week’s Contest:

Rosalina is unfamiliar with this terrestrial custom.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another…and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
