Caption Contest 183: “Tell Isabelle She’s Next.”
Posted on September 24 2018 by Rod Lloyd
Happy Monday, friends and foes! I hope you’re ready another exciting entry of the Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest. Today we kicked off Companion Week, a celebration of Link’s many partners and allies throughout the Zelda series. Some of you may have already checked out today’s Daily Debate (Maybe I should have translated the idea into a full-on editorial instead of a debate article?), which considers the likelihood of a Zelda companion turning to a life of evil. I made the argument that Midna would be the most likely to turn heel, and you can consider today’s contest image as some more supporting evidence.
Last Week’s Contest:
After last week’s image, I want to pet a Pichu so dang bad.
By: Multificionado
By: Thortok
And here our non-photo caption winners:
- Ashley: “When a friend falls asleep on you and you realize that you are stuck.”
- IceRod: “Yes, that’s right, sleep, my pet….”
- Benjamin Kuvshinikov: Zelda: monster hunter has gone to far!
- Oliver Feins: “In the jungle, the mighty jungle the Pichu sleeps toniiiiight…”
- HylianHero33: “When your pet falls asleep and you gotta take a pic”
This Week’s Contest:
What could be going through Villager’s mind in this moment?
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another…and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
