Even though Majoras Mask was released all the way back in 2000, its music still inspires musicians today. The game has some unforgettable songs, such as “Song of Healing” and “Clock Town”; but personally, I really like “Oath to Order.” This track, also referred to as “Calling the Four Giants”, gives me the feels on so many levels: how the giants still remember their friend and want to help when he is in trouble, the way they urge others to forgive their own friends for past hurts. So when listening to a remix of such a beloved tune, it has to be something different to make it stand out from the crowd.

James Ronald of Epic Game Music has made his own awesome cover of “Calling the Four Giants”. James and his trusty “electric guitar of justice” has taken the original and added his own spin. Beginning with a strong heartbeat and electronica vibe, it doesn’t take long before James’ guitar steals the show. As a Queen fan, this cover did remind me of Brian May’s skills and proves that electric guitar can convey emotion just as well as harp, piano, or violin.

So, what do you think of this cover? Is it electrifying? Or more like a moon crash? Let us know in the comments below!
