September is definitely a stressful month for a lot of people, amidst the breach of the school year, new jobs starting, and all those new and wild beginnings that come with Autumn. It can be a frightening time, and one of the things that is easy to forget is staying calm and allowing ourselves the time to relax.

Marcus Hedges, the musician and content creator who arranged a song for our very own Zelda Dungeon Marathon this past July, reminds us to do just that. Their new album, entitled “Hyrule Meditations” is comprised of eight songs from Ocarina of Time. The combination of the soothing piano and the sounds of birds, water, and other byproducts of the beauty of nature has quite the magical effect on the mind, as if to gently say that everything is going to be okay. Hedges elaborates on the importance of mental health and mindfulness in a video introducing the inspiration behind the album.

The album is available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes Store, Tidal, Amazon Music, Deezer, and YouTube Music, and you can also check out the official website for The Marcus Hedges Trend Orchestra. You can support Hedges further by following them on Instagram, Twitter, or buying them a coffee!

What do you think? What is your favorite song from the album? Do you find it as healing as I do? What do you do to practice mindfulness? Let us know in the comments below!
