Walkthrough
- View location on the Breath of the Wild Interactive Map.
- Given by Symin at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab, after acquiring the Sheikah Sensor +.
- Reward: Heart Truffle x3
In order to take part in this Side Quest, you must have first acquired the Camera and the Sheikah Sensor + from Purah. In order to do so, you will need to bring the blue flame to power the Ancient Tech Lab.
After getting the upgraded Sheikah Sensor, speak with Symin at the Tech Lab and he will teach you how to use your new ability. He asks you to take a picture of a Sunshroom, in which there is one right behind the tech lab. Run outside to the back of the tech lab and take a picture of a Sunshroom. Return to Symin to show him the picture.
Upon returning, Symin will tell you to open the Hyrule Compendium and tune the sensor to the picture of the Sunshroom. This will allow you to search for Sunshrooms, just as you were previously able to search for Shrines. In order to complete the quest, you will need to bring Symin three Sunshrooms. There are several of them just to the north at the Retsam Forest. Glide down to the forest and find three Sunshrooms. Warp back to the Ancient Text Lab and speak with Symin. As a reward for completing the quest, he will give you three Hearty Truffles.
