In case you missed it (and, as stealthy as they were, you may well have), Nintendo released a new Direct Mini earlier today featuring some new titles and launch dates for the coming year. This showcase included a launch date for Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition (29th May) and a look at Bravely Default II.

Hidden among these features, however, was a new update to Ring Fit Adventure, which introduces a brand new Rhythm Mode. This minigame allows players to work out to some of their favorite in-game tunes, as well as popular melodies from other franchises, including a Breath of the Wild medley! This medley includes snippets of the Guardian theme, field battle theme, Blight theme, and Dark Beast Ganon theme.

This new update to Ring Fit Adventure is available now! There are a total of 17 tracks to choose from, with selections from Ring Fit Adventure‘s own soundtrack, “Jump Up Super Star” and “Ground Theme” from Super Mario Odyssey, and medleys from Splatoon 2 and Wii Fit.

Will this update entice you back into exercise? Or perhaps it’s the push you need to give the game a go? Let us know what you think of the new music, and of the whole Mini-Direct in the comments!
