As Christmas is less than a month and a half away, Nintendo has published a Holiday Gift Guide on their website with details on what products the company is offering this season. First up are the various models of the Nintendo Switch. Consumers have the choice between OLED and standard Switch models. Each type has two variants of Joy-Con colors depending upon availability. There is also the option to purchase an Animal Crossing-themed Switch. To those who would prefer a mobile-only gaming experience, the Switch Lite comes in six different colors: blue, gray, yellow, coral, turquoise, and a gunmetal gray variant based on Dialga and Palkia from Pokemon.

Several of the Switch’s most recent or popular games feature in the gift guide. With the click of a button, you can read up on their features and make the decision as to whether or not they suit your interest. The gift guide has category searches for those who wish to shop by series or by style. Physical merchandise available for order includes: plushies, board games, toys, and clothing. It is possible that some will be interested in browsing through Nintendo’s wares this season, but don’t know where to start. The company has released quick start guides that offer options and instructions for those purchasing a Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, or Digital Games.

As part of the gift guide, Nintendo also offered a sneak peek at which products they will have on sale during Black Friday 2021. The sale will last from Sunday, November 21st to Saturday, November 27th. First is a Black Friday Nintendo Switch Bundle. For $299.99 USD, the bundle contains a base model Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a three-month individual member subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. To put that in perspective, for the price of one console, purchasers will receive the game and subscription as a bonus. It’s not an eye-opener, but at least it would land new users with something to play off the bat.

Ring Fit Adventure will be discounted by twenty-five dollars and cost roughly $55.99 USD. Mario Kart Live: Home Tour will also receive a price reduction and drop from nearly a hundred dollars to $59.99 USD. Depending upon availability, consumers will be able to purchase Home Tour with either a Mario or Luigi kart.

And the following Switch games will have their price reduced from $59.99 USD to $39.99 USD: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, Paper Mario: The Origami King, Astral Chain, Kirby Star Allies, Super Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Splatoon 2, and Super Mario Bros U Deluxe.

There are a couple caveats in the announcement’s fine print. First, the discounts will occur “while supplies last.” Second, physical copies on sale will only be at participating realtors; the list of these companies has not yet been released. It has not been confirmed if products purchased online or digital versions of the games will receive Black Friday discounts.

Nintendo’s Black Friday 2021 deals will be available from Sunday, November 21st to Saturday, November 27th.
