Bop Your Head Along to this Unique Solo Mandolin Cover of the Lon Lon Ranch Theme

The Lon Lon Ranch theme from Ocarina of Time is definitely one of the more peaceful scores to hear from the timeless soundtrack. It not only provides a calming effect, but provides a touch of the country-style music some of us are accustomed to. The musician we’re looking at today takes a slightly different approach to this song as he covers it using a unique kind of lute.
Mandolin Wild is an up-and-coming musician who most recently decided to try his hands at an iconic Zelda score with a solo mandolin cover of “Lon Lon Ranch.” While I will admit it doesn’t exactly sound shot-for-shot like the original, its uniqueness is what makes this cover so memorable. While his version still has the core of the song embedded into it, he still brings his own style to it.
