Book About Satoru Iwata’s Life Announced for Japan

A book celebrating the life of late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata was recently announced. The book will be published by Japanese company Habonichi, which was founded by Earthbound creator Shigesato Itoi. The book will collect words shared by Iwata on the official Nintendo website, as well as on Habonichi’s Blog. Additionally, contributions from Itoi and Shigeru Miyamoto will be featured. According to currently available information, the book will only be released in Japan, however, there is no launch date set at this time.
Translations from Nintendo Enthusiast unveiled that the book will contain 7 chapters, as follows:
- Iwata-san until the time he became President (of Nintendo)
- Iwata-san’s Leadership
- Iwata-san’s Personality
- Iwata-san is a person you can trust
- The games Iwata-san aimed (to make)
- Talking about Iwata-san
- Iwata-san is this kind of person
More details on the book will be shown early next month. In the meantime, we can only cross our fingers and hope we get a release of this book in the west.
