Update: Blood Moon Rising, A Horror-Themed Zelda Fan Zine, Now Accepting Applications

Update: The Blood Moon Rising fan zine is taking contributor applications now through August 31st. There are spaces for page artists, merch artists, writers, and other. Please note that contributors must be 18 or older to apply to this zine.

Original: “The Blood Moon rises once again…” Calling all Zelda artists, writers, crafters, and artisans; Blood Moon Rising Zine is doing an interest check for their upcoming project. The zine is a horror-themed Zelda zine, so imagine all of your darkest fears that creep through Zelda lore coming to life upon its pages.

The creators of the project aim to create a PG-13 zine based upon all of the horrors and fears in Zelda. The zine will be canon-compliant and will discuss and depict various moments from the games that have scared or unsettled contributors in the past. If you’re wanting to show your interest in being featured in the zine, you can follow this link and give your feedback. The interest check closes on June 30th, so don’t wait too long to join in.
As of writing, it is unclear if the zine will be physical or solely digital; but the final product aims to be 100 pages of content bundled with other physical and digital merch. The zine is not for profit and will benefit a charity that will be chosen at a later date. You can check out more information on the zine on Blood Moon Rising Zine’s website here.
