BlackMilk Clothing Teases Upcoming Zelda Collaboration

If you have an interest in clothing related to Nintendo franchises, then BlackMilk Clothing may have caught your eye in the past. In just the past year, the Australia-based company has created clothing collections inspired by Super Mario, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Pokemon. Each of BlackMilk’s Nintendo collaborations has resulted in some eye-catching designs that pay homage to some of Nintendo’s most iconic franchises, and it looks like more could be on its way soon.
Recently, BlackMilk Clothing posted a cryptic tweet that hints that a Zelda collaboration could be in the pipeline. On their Twitter, the company posted a photo of the iconic Royal Crest of Hyrule accompanied with the tagline, “We’re about to start a new adventure.” Given BlackMilk Clothing’s past work with Nintendo franchises, they seem like a logical choice to take on a Zelda-themed line.

The Zelda franchise has such a rich history to draw from, whether it is character designs or iconography, so there are a great deal of possibilities for Zelda-themed clothing. BlackMilk Clothing prides itself on making clothing for people “who don’t mind standing out from a crowd,” and following this mission statement could result in some dazzling Zelda designs. Looking at some the company’s past designs, I think it would be exciting to have dresses based on the different versions of Zelda (and Tetra) including her designs in Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Breath of the Wild.
