“Ballad of the Goddess” Viola Cover

Skyward Sword marked the first Zelda title with an orchestrated soundtrack, but many fans felt it also was a departure from the trend of having simple and catchy tunes as in the previous games. One memorable song, however, is the “Ballad of the Goddess”, Skyward Sword’s main theme. YouTuber and violist XclassicalcatX has done several covers of video game music, and now she’s released a cover of the “Ballad of the Goddess.” Make the jump to hear it!

I loved her rendition of this song, and I think she’s pretty talented. Zelda covers are everywhere, though they’re most often performed on the guitar or the piano.
