When it comes to a Nintendo console with a great reputation, one of the many we can instantly think of is the Nintendo 64. With it’s release being the first Nintendo console to render games in “64 bit”, it was extremely impressive upon release and later came to be the console we all played and came to love Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask on. One of the many striking features of this console was it’s controller and some incredibly well drawn art has been put onto one of them. While not much of any information is available on the controller, in regards to who made it, it’s still worth checking out all the same. You can check it out after the jump, or take a quick look here.

Now I’m no expert at art or anything, but I think that this controller is just plain awesome! I really like how Link and Sheik are standing back to back, and the sketches of the notes on the controller next to Link’s ocarina are floating out of it. Overall, the attention to detail is just really stunning. Unfortunately, hand sweat when playing video games is almost unavoidable, so actually using this controller on a regular basis would not be a good thing, as the drawing might smudge. But it would definitely make for a great item to put on display, so it still has a great use!

But now that you’ve seen the controller, what do you think? Do you think a different design would have worked better? What do you like about it? Leave us a comment and let us know!
