This year’s remake of Link’s Awakening has reminded many of us of just how much we appreciate Zelda‘s first handheld adventure. During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s newest fighters, Banjo & Kazooie, will be available immediately after the direct ends. The official Nintendo Switch remake of Link’s Awakening can’t come soon enough for many of us. The Wall Street Journal reports that two new models for the Nintendo Switch will launch as early as this summer. Much like Sony’s competing models for Playstation 4 (Pro and Slim), these new Switch models will target the hardcore and casual gaming markets, respectfully. The first model, said to target avid video game players, will be more expensive and will tout “enhanced features”, though it reportedly will not be as powerful as the Playstation 4 Pro or Xbox One X….

During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that a new update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is scheduled for this spring. Nine years after the original Darksiders was released, the remastered version, Warmastered Edition, was announced as coming to Nintendo Switch. It is official: a press release by studio Analgesic Productions confirms that a sequel to the 2013 RPG Anodyne is coming to Windows, Mac, and Linux this May. The game will be titled Anodyne 2: Return to Dust. The game will include 2D dungeons (a la A Link to the Past), as well as 3D environments between which the player (as Nova the Nano Cleaner) will switch.
