Assassin’s Creed III Wii U May Not Be Superior To PS3/360 Counterpart After All

Gamescom happened quite recently, and many companies were in attendance to show off their shiny new toys to the world. Among the crowd was Ubisoft with a new naval based mission for Assassin’s Creed III, with demos for Wii U and PS3. Steven Masters, the lead game designer on the project (and who I believe has such a fitting last name), received word of the two trials having minor graphical differences, and he did not hesitate to answer the cries of attendees.
Masters has stated the limited development time on the project has lead to some cutting of corners, subtracting particle effects and lighting for more unique Wii U features.
Apparently there is a 99% similarity between the two versions of the game. Wii U graphics are supposed to be on par with the two other competitors, although some time restraints may change up the pathway for Assassin’s Creed III.
To me, I couldn’t care less about some graphical hiccups here and there as long as I get my Templar slaying action. What do you think? Sound off in the comments!
