Another week of Linktober is under our belts and we’re nearly to the half way point! Monthly art challenges can be a little rough if you’ve never done one before so be sure to be kind to yourself! You don’t have to complete every day, the whole point of this month’s challenge is to have fun, support those in Zelda community, and learn something new along the way! Now, let’s check out some of the amazing artwork from this week. This week’s prompts were: Boat/Ship/Vessel, Battle, Overgrown, Nostalgia, Flying, Secret, and Withered.

Day Eight has many different takes on “Boat/Ship/Vessel”, but I really loved this interpretation of the prompt from, gentleghosts on Instagram.  This is such serene digital painting on Link, and there’s something peaceful about it.

Day Nine had us facing many different “Battles, ” but catman4fr on Instagram had such a fantastic interpretation of the prompt! It gives classic Tekken vibes and I’m here for it!

Day Ten found us tangled in different kinds of “Overgrown” things, but pickledrawsstuff on Instagram took a different approach with their art from The Wind Waker! When I first saw this it gave me quite the giggle. It’s fantastic!

Day Eleven was all about all things that filled us with “Nostalgia.” Honestly this was one of my favorite prompts of the whole month. I’ve loved seeing everyone’s artwork on this day! zelda1fan on Instagram had a wonderfully beautiful Outset Island piece. You can almost hear the waves crashing up against the beach. I wonder if Link is taking a nap in the tower right about now?

Day Twelve artist’s took flight with the prompt, “Flying.” Elven Ariaera, (@EAriaera) on Twitter had fluttering, fairy-filled piece that will surely bring a smile to your face!

Day Thirteen artists shared different “Secrets” found within The Legend of Zelda. There are quite a few Secret Seashells to find in the remake of Link’s Awakening and mr.azul_ on Instagram made a piece highlighting that secret!

Finally, Day Fourteen saw artists taking on the prompt “Withered” as we all reach the halfway point in the Linktober challenge! hyliantactician on Instagram created a magnificent piece of Fi and the Master Sword that we have seen featured in footage from Tears of the Kingdom.

That’s it for week two! We’ve made it to the halfway point! I hope that you’re all having fun.Which of this week’s piece was your favorite? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to follow along for the rest of the month for more amazing and legendary artwork!
