Any% Speedrun World Record Has Been Broken for Majora’s Mask 3D

Recently, the any% speedrunning record for Majora’s Mask 3D was broken. Any% simply means that the speedrunner only has to beat the game, and does not have to collect every item. Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask are two of the most common games that Zelda speedrunners choose to master, so it’s no surprise that their remakes would be popular choices as well.

The gamer that broke the record is a Japanese speedrunner by the name of iwabi. Iwabi’s favorite game is Majora’s Mask 3D, but also says he is currently practicing speedrunning Ocarina of Time 3D and Splatoon.
