The latest project Zeldamotion by the animation group Aeipathy Industries has been recently posted on YouTube. An animated adaptation of Akira Himekawa’s A Link to the Past manga with voices and sounds. The trailer shows the initial parts of the game while maintaining the artstyle and design of the manga. All the lines are lifted straight from the manga as well. Overall it is a very faithful adaptation with scenes from the manga that many fans should easily recognize.

Zeldamotion is a fan project dedicated to bringing the Akira Himekawa Legend of Zelda Mangas to life. Created by Mikey Patch with love, by fans for fans 🙂

I thought this was great, it was fun seeing something from the Zelda universe in animated form and not as a joke video. I do like the joke videos but there are so many of them and it is very rare for someone to make something serious like this. Like an actual attempt to have an animated version of one of the games. I really hope this can be more than a trailer some day.

So what do you think? Do you like the video? Can’t wait for more from Zeldamotion? Let us know in the comments below.
