Animal Crossing’s Manaka Kataoka is Lead Composer for Breath of the Wild

Manaka Kataoka was the lead composer for Animal Crossing: New Leaf and City Folk, and has also previously helped with Spirit Tracks and Wii Fit. We now know he is the lead composer for Breath of the Wild, having crafted the main theme music for the game. This is according to a 30th anniversary concert program which performed 4 times last year, who lists him as the lead Breath of the Wild composer.

Of course, with the sheer scope of Breath of the Wild, it’s highly likely many of Nintendo’s top composers have contributed to the game in some way.
