Animal Crossing’s Isabelle is Coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Animal Crossing fans were in for a surprise during today’s Nintendo Direct showcase. At the end of the broadcast, we learned that the town mayor’s canine assistant, Isabelle, is joining the battle in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Switch.

It has been confirmed on the official Smash website that Isabelle is a full character, with fighter number 68. Her moves are based around her clumsy, festive demeanor, featuring attacks with a water bucket, a party popper, pom-poms, rockets, and fishing rods. Isabelle was a long-awaited addition to the fighters roster, so it’s nice to see her finally getting the spotlight.
