Throughout the entire Zelda series, whether the MacGuffin of the franchise is vital to Link’s quest or not, the Triforce is the main key to the in-game universe. It’s what drives Ganon to do what he does, while it drives Link and Princess Zelda to stop him in order to save Hyrule from the end of the world. Even just the symbol of the Triforce has been a staple of video game history and our world for over three decades now. It is important to both sides of the spectrum.

This is what Treesicle looks into as he dives into an analysis about how vital the Triforce is not just to the series, but to the world around the series as well. While he does tackle a bit in regards to the ins and outs of what makes the Triforce vital to the Zelda franchise, he also looks at how important the “Power of 3” is in our world. It’s interesting to see how much of our own real world is tied into just the number three, like when it pertains to architecture, the human body, primary colors, and much more.
