There is something about gaming and collecting that goes hand-in-hand. Nintendo games are known for rewarding players who patiently search out and collect every item, whether they be Korok Seeds or Lights of Blessing. And outside of their games, Nintendo rewards customer loyalty with exclusive merchandise as well. Today, we have My Nintendo Rewards, in which fans and customers can trade Coins earned from purchasing games for physical merchandise, digital games, and discounts. But from 2002 to 2015, there was Club Nintendo, and a new unendorsed anthology promises to catalogue all of the rewards offered for this bygone loyalty program.

An Unendorsed Anthology of Club Nintendo is “the first-ever comprehensive book dedicated to Club Nintendo.” This 300+ page book will have color photographs of all the Nintendo Club rewards.

This anthology serves as a meticulously curated collection of all Club Nintendo rewards, presented through stunning photography and design. Drawing inspiration from the original art and graphics of the loyalty program, this book offers a clear and informative archive for fans and collectors alike.

The book is currently a campaign on Kickstarter that is over 200% funded. Two different cover options, red and green, start at a pledge of $33 USD (£25). All pledge levels also include a .pdf of the book. Backers can also add on collectibles like a gold coin pin, postcards featuring handheld systems, and a 2025 Anniversary Celebration Calendar for an additional cost. For backers who want the book and the collectibles, the Limited Edition pledge level at $45 USD (£35) has all four items.

Please note that this book is not endorsed by or made with the involvement of Nintendo, and is therefore not official.

Earlier this year, the book’s publisher Oscar Bown released Super Mario Memorabilia on Kickstarter that was successfully funded and delivered to backers. Bown completed a degree in graphic design and made Super Mario Memorabilia based on his own Mario collection.

This beautifully presented, easy reference guide to Club Nintendo collectibles will delight collectors and casual fans alike. It’s interesting to know what could be “out there” to complete a collection or just to see what all Nintendo offered. I imagine this would a great holiday gift or coffee table book.

What do think? Did you get rewards from Club Nintendo? Do you have a pretty good collection of Club Nintendo rewards? Let us know in the comments!
