An ARMS Character Will Be the Next DLC Fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Posted on March 26 2020 by Rod Lloyd
Back in January, Nintendo announced that six new DLC fighters would be joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster as part of Fighters Pass Vol. 2. We’ve seen rampant speculation since then on what character would join Smash next, and Nintendo has finally offered us an answer… sort of.
During today’s surprise Nintendo Direct Mini, it was announced that a character from the ARMS series would be first of six debuts from Fighters Pass Vol. 2. While this is certainly exciting news, we still don’t know which ARMS character will ultimately join the roster.
It was stated during the Direct that this new character will be quite “unusual” due to his or her extendable arms, so development on the character will need to be extended. Nintendo confirmed that this ARMS character will be officially revealed and released in June of this year.
