Amazing Zelda Woodburned Clock

Whether you are a bored child needing something to doodle in math class, or an experienced artisan needing something to use as a new project design, the symbols and motifs of the Zelda series always seem to inspire artistic recreation in various forms. If you remember the designs on Skyward Sword’s gate of time, and on the cover of Hyrule Historia, you will recognize it on imgur user trufflesmcgoo‘s custom woodburned clock. As a woodworker myself, I always love to see crafts like this. As I mentioned, Zelda has loads of symbols and such that you see all throughout the series, and this particular design looks great as a clock, especially after application of a good clear coat finish. I can also attest to how tricky wood burning by hand can be, so kudos to trufflesmcgoo for a fine job.
