As excitement builds for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, we’re all looking forward to the next opportunity to see the game in action. Koei Tecmo and Nintendo have already announced that Age of Calamity will be shown at Tokyo Game Show on September 26th, but it seems the game will not be exclusive to that event next weekend.

On Sunday, September 27th at 5 PM Japan time (1 AM Pacific, 4 AM Eastern, and 9 AM UK time), there will be a live broadcast of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity aired via GAME LIVE JAPAN 2020. The live broadcast will give fans the opportunity to see the game in action and, per the announcement, “playable character(s) will also be revealed for the first time during the program.” The announcement encourages all Zelda fans to tune in and see the game for themselves.

For those that don’t know, GAME LIVE JAPAN is a live stream event that promises to deliver new gaming information over the course of three days, from Friday, September 25th to Sunday, September 27th. The streams will be available in English on YouTube and Twitch, although how they will be hosted is not confirmed as yet. After a dry spell of gaming news, it is believed that the stream will deliver scoops on new games and anticipated titles. Whether this will include another Zelda title is yet to be seen, but we can always hope!

Are you looking forward to seeing which characters will make the cut? How will the game compare to Hyrule Warriors? Will Age of Calamity improve upon the original? Tune in to find out!
