Ever wonder what the Legend of Zelda would look like if it was in first person mode? Ever wonder what the classic NES Zelda titles would look like if they were remade in 3d? Well now you can put your wonders to the test as a fan has recreated Adventure of Link in 3D. You can head on over to his blog and you may need to quickly install a plugin that will allow you to play.
The game is a 3d rendition of Adventure of Link that combines elements of both the first two Zelda titles. It isn’t an exact replica of Adventure of Link and you will see familiar looking caves from the original Legend of Zelda. I have to say, the graphics were done quite well as some of the enemies really look impressive. I only played for about 10 minutes and I got game over before I made it to the first Palace. (I died by falling into the water three times after jumping across ledges and being hit by 3d floating bubbles). In the early going you can see several enemies such as lowders, bits, bots, and geldarms.
It’s definitely interesting to say the least and if I wasn’t getting motion sickness, I probably would have continued. You can view additional screenshots after the jump. Be sure to head on over and try out Adventure of Link in 3D and then let us know what you think by posting in the comments below!
